Some new information has been released for the Nintendo 3DS game, Naruto Shippuden 3D – The New Era.

Here are some of the details:

• takes advantage of 3DS features
• Naruto is a selectable character
• rival Sasuke is unlockable character
• ten “assist” characters available
• Malice is new female character
• first appearance of Five Kages
• game uses motion controls in some attacks and boss fights
• 3DS camera used to reveal secret codes
• Sharingan codes can be redeemed to unlock items and characters

Here are some new details that have recently been released for Naruto 3DS:

• a spin off of the Anime series
• has a 2D.5 perspective
• ninja is main character
• new female character revealed
• able to switch between background and foreground
• ninja helpers aid Naruto in battling bosses
• require physically rotating the 3DS to escape death traps in quicktime events
• scheduled for Japan release March 31

Reported on andriasang, from the Jump Festa 2011, an interesting poster for Naruto Shippuden 3DS (title not confirmed) has surfaced.
