Square Enix’s game, Kingdom Hearts, coming for the Nintendo 3DS has had its title updated to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Apparently, this game will highlight action and speed, with height and distances feeling more realistic with the effects of 3D. We also learn that the characters, Sora and Riku, will be switched frequently during play. No release date has been set yet.

Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura was reported on Siliconera as saying that there “may be a major overhaul in the selection of Disney worlds,” in Kingdom Hearts 3D. He also mentioned that most locales in the game will be entirely new. So far the Disney worlds for Kingdom Hearts 3D have not been decided on yet.

The trailer that was shown at E3 this year, depicted the sky raining Soras. This was done to give the idea that impossible things can happen in the game.

More details should be released at Square Enix’s 1st Production Department conference in January, so stay tuned.
