Kid Icarus developer Masahiro Sakurai has seen a lot of what the 3DS will have to offer – his company is even working on a game for the new system. However when asked what excited him the most, he chose to mention Resident Evil, noting that he was impressed with the demo’s real time graphics. Here’s what he had to say:

“The Resident Evil demo was very impressive. The real time graphics in that are very impressive and I’ve already seen things that I can learn from that.”

Considering how new and different the 3DS is, I’m sure developers have a lot to wrap their heads around as they try and fully realize its potential.
