The Independent Film Channel recently talked with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime in a lengthy interview.

In Part 1, Nintendo’s head honcho revealed that, despite the large number of titles revealed at this year’s E3, the company just scratched the surface of product that’s coming out over the next nine months. Considering the 3DS will be out within that time frame, I’d bet there are a lot of unannounced 3DS titles we’ll be learning about leading up to the new handheld’s release.

In Part 2, he talks about the growing third party support Nintendo has been receiving over the years. It appears as if the 3DS will reap the benefits of the company’s change of direction and likely receive the strongest third party launch support in Nintendo’s history.

Finally in Part 3, Reggie speaks about Nintendo’s 15-year quest to fully realize 3D in their products, going back to the Virtual Boy. Kid Icarus is also mentioned, specifically how the game is tailor-made for the 3D experience with the flying and ground battle elements.
