According to Joystiq, a Nielsen study revealed that, for the most part, people prefer glasses-free viewing for not only 3D TV but also 3D gaming – a much anticipated feature of the Nintendo 3DS.

Aside from the glasses being uncomfortable, participants of the study reported that it was difficult to do other things while wearing glasses. Another problem mentioned was the lack of standardization. Also, the price factor was a deterrent when purchasing a 3D TV. Although impressed by the picture quality, it doesn’t seem like a lot of people are willing make a purchase while the content is still so limited.
