A review from Nintendo World Report gives us some interesting facts about this 3DS game.
Here are a few of the details:
- same 35 characters as console version
- alternate costumes one and two
- Wi-Fi functionality
- wireless connection and fighting allowed when in Download Play
- in StreetPass mode battle figurines duke it out
- figurines are preset
- automatic battles affect rankings
- fighting with other players can cause new figures to unlock
- in matchmaking mode, players can join on-going matches
- 2 control modes – Light and Pro

From Nintendo 3DS Blog, we get a good feel for the new game from Game Loft, Asphalt 3D (being published in Japan by Konami).
The name for this racing game is only a working title so it could be changed before final release. Aside from the screenshots, nothing much has been revealed.
