Reported on 1Up, Noritaka Funamizu, who was a developer for Capcom, gives his views on the 3DS to Famitsu.

“As a portable game system, the 3DS is just powerful enough, and that’s what I find so attractive about it. It’s not too weak, but not too overpowered, either – it seems easy to develop for. There’s this idea I had that was too complex for the DS, but wasn’t really suited for the PSP either, and I’d like to try tackling it again.”

Funamizu’s works include Street Fighter II, the Street Fighter Alpha series and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages. At the moment he is working on a PlayStation Move game but it looks like we can expect to see him involved in the Nintendo 3DS in the near future.
