Some new battery life information has come out about the Nintendo 3DS.

There are some of the details:

• when backlight is at brightest level and power saver function is off, battery life is about 3 hours
• when power saver function is on, battery life is 10-20% greater
• when backlight is on darkest level, battery life is about 5 hours (power saver function has less effect in this setting)
• when backlight is on brightest setting, 3D function can effect battery life by 25%
• 3DS’s 3D visuals effect battery life
• Streetpass and Wi-Fi effect battery life
• battery for 3DS could take up to 3.5 hours to charge
